Red wedding gowns became popular on the runways about 10 years ago, and they are still hot for that bride who wants to make a truly unique statement on her wedding day. Many wedding dresses in China, India, Africa and Vietnam are traditionally red. In fact there are many weddings today in the western world where the bride will change into 2 or 3 or more gowns throughout the day. In modern Chinese weddings, the bride usually wears the white Western dress and then changes from a white gown to a red gown or a gold gown for the reception.
